POLICE REGULATIONS AS TO CONTAGIOUS DISEASES ORDINANCE.

1.-Every Sergeant or Constable of Police, who knows of any house being an unregistered brothel, shall report the matter to his Inspector, and the Inspector shall place the matter on the Morning Report with his opinion thereon.

2.-Every Sergeant or Constable of Police, who knows of any woman behaving in the Colony as a common prostitute either afloat or on shore, shall report the same as above.

3.-If an Inspector has reason to believe that a house is an unregistered brothel, or that a woman is behaving within the Colony as a common prostitute, he shall report the same.

4.-Any member of the Police Force having good reason to believe that any woman or female child is detained in an unregistered brothel against her will, or in any other place, for the purpose of prostitution, shall immediately report the matter.

5.-Sergeants and Police Constables must arrest any woman whom they may find in any street, road, mat-bed, or other place, within one mile of any District for the purposes of prostitution, also any woman whom they may find on board a junk or sampan for the like purposes.

6.-Should any facts occur that lead to the reasonable belief that any house, or portion of the same, is used as an unlicensed brothel, they are to be forthwith reported.
